LHS are the largest central lettings agency for choice based systems and housing systems in this country, owned by social landlords and run as a not-for-profit organisation.

LHS have successfully implemented four choice based solutions powered by LOCATA, one of the original and largest of the 27 ODPM pilot schemes set up in the year 2001.

LHS handles 41,000 free magazines, 330 adverts and over 40,000 bids per cycle on behalf of its partners.

Locata won the inaugural e-government award

Locata scooped the top national award for excellence in technology. The award catagory 3. e-Government excellence, Local Government: Strategic plan / achievement
was praised as one of the only services in the local housing sector to be fully accessible to all its customers using all available methods of access.
