LHS can host and manage your Housing Register delivering you big potential cost savings.  

LHS currently hold the Housing Registers for each partner in three sub regional schemes – Cambridgeshire’s Home-Link, Buckinghamshire’s BucksHomeChoice  and Derbyshire’s Home-Options  - as well as West Berkshire’s stand alone scheme.

In each case, the local authority has transferred all of its housing register data to LHS and cancelled that part of the service commissioned from its housing management information system.

The system is capable of handling multiple partners in schemes and can deal with allocations policies built on either a points or banding system (or a combination of the two).

LHS Housing Register services work in parallel with LHS On-Line Application Manager. This allows the automatic register of applicants who access housing services from a link on your scheme’s public website (once a member of staff has verified the application and set them live on the system). 

The on-line application form can be configured to self-select out applicants who are ineligible for housing, promote a housing options approach and give an initial assessment to applicants.  

Customers identified as “in need” are fast tracked through the system. Doctors and professionals can also access registration details for on-line verification of assessment.
