LHS has been chosen by six Dorset Councils to deliver their new integrated housing scheme called Dorset Home Choice. 

The implementation process has begun and LHS will be working with practitioners across the Councils and RSLs to deliver a housing options system that will cover choice based lettings and homeless prevention and advice services.  

Additionally, Dorset Home Choice will be one of the first LHS partner schemes to offer the new National Mobility module, enabling their customers to look for transfers across all of the LHS partner schemes and other existing mutual exchange websites participating in this initiative.

The new scheme will go live in the Spring of 2012 and will handle more than 20,000 applicants a year across the six councils.

The new scheme will encompass Bournemouth Borough Council, North Dorset DC, West Dorset DC, Weymouth & Portland Borough Council, Purbeck DC and the Borough of Poole.
