The LHS Property Mapping Manager already delivers powerful visual aids for housing applicants by placing available properties on a map of the scheme area.

Development work is currently being undertaken to extend this technique to allow housing applicants to pull up a map of the jobs available in their area.

This will be a particularly useful and powerful system for job seekers on the housing register. They will be able to see exactly where potential jobs are in relation to where they live now and in relation to properties they may wish to bid on.

And just like Property Mapping Manager, applicants will be able to pull up all the relevant information on any job they are interested in by clicking on that job’s icon on the map.

Also in the pipeline is a system that will map private rented properties for those schemes using private landlords to help house people.

There are also plans to create a mapping system that will show all the low cost home ownership opportunities for customers in an area.
