LHS has developed a suite of products that provide the backbone of the housing option services delivered by local authorities and their housing association partners across the country.

The products and services have been built out of a core Choice Based Lettings system that went live in 2001 across a partnership of five West London Boroughs and two large RSLs.

Now LHS provides a complete range of web-based housing option services that span local authority boundaries and seamlessly integrate with existing housing management systems. Even better, set up is easy and cheap because no IT installation is ever required – LHS host the systems for you.

LHS also provide a range of products designed to deliver high-level information and analysis for managers of housing option services.

Reports can be generated on any criteria the manager requires relating to housing applicants, shortlists and the properties in the scheme.

However, LHS has built on this to offer systems that can track nominations, provide maps of available properties and even allow RSLs to bring the management of all their properties into one place from across many local authority boundaries.

Every product has been developed because an existing LHS customer has requested it after identifying a need in their particular scheme. Once developed with that scheme, the product is then available to all. And because LHS is a not-for-profit company, its products are available at prices unmatchable in the private sector.
