Partner Schemes - Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire’s HomeChoice covers five local authorities and handles more than 75,000 bids a year from some 13,600 housing applicants.
The scheme works on a fortnightly bid cycle and carries all the available properties for letting on its website and freesheet that is distributed widely throughout the county. In the last year HomeChoice carried more than 1,800 adverts leading to some 1,100 completed lets.
HomeChoice went live across the sub-region in December 2008. It also offers its applicants the opportunity to swap their properties using the LHS Mutual Exchange Manager as well as access to private rented accommodation using the LHS Private Landlord Manager.
