Nottingham Homelink is due to go live in the spring of 2012. It is a partnership between Nottingham City Council, Nottingham City Homes and 11 housing associations.

It will be the first LHS scheme in the country to be "cycle-less" - allowing properties to be advertised when they like and for as long as they like. Due to the non-cyclical nature of the scheme Nottingham intend to notify applicants by email or text when eligible properties are available for them to bid on.

Homelink has approximately 14,000 applicants from in and around one of the UK’s largest cities.

The scheme will allow bids by telephone, on the internet and by text.
