Stoke’s stand-alone scheme went live in May 2008 and runs on a weekly bid cycle.

Homeline has approximately 6,750 applicants on the Housing Register making more than 82,000 bids a year on advertised properties. 

All available properties are advertised on its website and in a freesheet called Homeline distributed widely across the city. In the last year more than 2,500 adverts were run leading to 1,788 completed lets. 

The scheme allows bids by telephone, on the internet and by text.
